Dive Into Summer Writing: Get a Month of Motivation in July

Accomplish your academic writing goals by focusing on two areas of academic writing that many authors tend to struggle with - isolation and accountability – with TAA’s new Month of Motivation program.

To combat the challenges associated with personal goal setting and accountability felt by many academic authors, we have developed a month-long motivational email series that begins with a personal pledge to meet your writing goals

Month of Motivation Writing JournalWhat You'll Receive:

  • Daily email messages containing motivation, encouragement, and resources to advance your writing efforts all month long.
  • The opportunity to participate in four 30-minute Virtual Writing Accountability Sessions each week. During these sessions, you’ll connect by video, share what you plan to work on during the session, write as a group for 30 minutes, and then share your next steps. You select from the following dates when you sign up and we select final dates based on group availability (all times are ET): Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 10-10:30 a.m.,11-11:30 a.m., 1-1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m.; Wednesday 7-7:30 p.m., and Fridays 3-3:30 p.m.
  • A time tracking template to allow you to log your daily writing progress, review your weekly progress, and track your writing process over time.
  • A writing journal package that includes a TAA-branded journal, a bookmark with advice on how to use a journal, and a Do Not Disturb door hanger.
